TGP Collection
Don't miss our upcoming Warehouse Sale, July 9 - 11!We are saddened to share that after almost 10 years, we have decided to close our resale shop, TGP Collection, effective July 24, 2010.
There has been a steady decline in the traffic in the Larchmere area recently and it is no longer possible for us to generate significant net revenue from the shop. We will continue to be the recipient of the generosity of the community via donations of furniture and collectables. We will hold 3-4 warehouse sales throughout the year utilizing most of our shop volunteers and operate with a significantly lower overhead.
As an organization, we are truly grateful for
all of the
ways in which TGP Collection has supported the mission of The Gathering
Place. Our devoted volunteers, under the expert guidance of our Shop
Manager, Barb Daly, have helped to raise over $450,000 since TGP
Collection
opened in late 2000. Barb will be staying on with us through the end of
July to assist us in the process of closing the shop.
