Hospice & Palliative Care

It is never an easy decision to contact a hospice or palliative care center, yet they can be of tremendous help to families living with cancer. It is important to dispel the myth that a hospice referral means death is imminent, or that the oncologist has 'given up'. The more time a family has with a hospice organization, the more they can take part in the many services that help the person with cancer and their family members cope with a terminal diagnosis.

We list below  nonprofit hospices that serve our community. To find a hospice anywhere in the country, Click herefor the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization's search engine.
