Chris,
Thank you for reaching out. So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and that your sister and close friend are having to battle cancer. You may contact Eileen Coan at 216-595-9546 to discuss how you can work with us and the salon. Thank you again for being so responsive.

I am a hairstylist @ David and Daniel hairdressers. I am looking forward to helping out with the care of the wigs. I think this is a wonderful thing you are doing and if I can help in any additional way I am willing. I lost my mother to ovarian cancer 7 years ago and recently watched my sister and close friend fight thru breast cancer. I hope I can help

Hi! My name is Jackie. I had read Regina's article in the Plain Dealer and was so touched by it and compelled to help in any way I can. I am looking into donating wigs from a relative that no longer needs them. I am also a hairdresser and would like to look into my salon helping this cause in any way we can, and I would love to offer my help either before or once this salon opens to help style wigs, or wherever you may need help of a hairdresser! I would love to hear back if you can and let me know how I can participate. Thank you very much.

Thanks for all the wonderful programs, classes, and groups. I have not attended near as much as I would like to, but the times I have I have found this place to be a healing atmosphere even when I left in tears. Finding the place to be real and remove the mask of "strength" is refreshing in and of itself. I am most grateful for all the staff of coarse....but especially for the fellow patrons, afflicted with cancer and their support peeps who come and openly share their hearts, minds, and spirits in this journey......there is nothing like walking in the shoes....even though they are different colors and sizes. Thanks again for all!

Eileen, Your New Year's letter is like you, warm and wonderful. The Gathering Place would not be what it is without your vision, leadership and amazing passion. I believe that the tone of the leadership, in businesses, organizations, schools, trickles down to everyone else...hence you have attracted an incredible community of caring individuals. Here's to a Happy, Healthy New Year for all and a hope that someday there will be no need for the Gather Places because cancer will be no more!
