Volunteers
who have agreed to be a phone 'Buddy' are specially trained to be a
source of emotional or informational support. We have Buddies for most
cancers, with a wide variety of treatment experiences, as well as
family members of someone with cancer.
For those facing breast cancer, we have a program called Breast Cancer Connection, overseen by Sondra Boyd; she is a 20 year breast cancer survivor and has trained over 100 volunteers. You can contact her directly at 440-442-4433. For all other cancers, call or stop in, our medical librarian will match you with someone who understands your concerns.
